I was just wondering, were there ever any floppy drives that used both sides at the same time to read/write cylinders instead of tracks? Kinda double speed transfer if doing so, right?
Oh, and how common was it to let more than one drive have active transfer at the same time? (My knowledge of the C= 64 and Amiga is that they only have one set of data lines AFAIK.)
