OT: Kindle Fire 6 Repair - Ribbon Connector

I have a Kindle Fire 6 and it was dropped on a hard floor.
How do I disconnect the ribbon connector without breaking it? I watched the videos and they sort of take it apart in three minutes and it actually took me longer and I don't want to break it.
